As 2007 draws to a close, I want to say thank you to all of you who helped make this year a fun one for Sandy and myself. We have a great district, thanks in large part to all the hard work that Dave and Gwen Carter did before us.

I hope each of you will help your individual chapters in making 2008 a fun and safe year for everybody concerned. With your help, your chapters will grow and spread the enjoyment we all share when we're together, either in a meeting or on a ride somewhere.

Speaking of rides, now is the time to plan for the 2008 riding season. Do you have a thought for something you'd like to see happen in the district?

I've been thinking about a district camp-out or maybe a district picnic...what do you think?
